For the last three years the Dixon Rollerpack has
traveled hundreds of miles. Hikers have used the pack in such places as
San Bernardino Mountains, San Jacinto Mountains, Anza-Borrego Desert,
Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Cottonwood Lakes and even to the top of Mt.
Whitney. There have been several prototypes dealing with one or
two wheels and the size of wheel, also types of materials from aluminum
tubing to carbon fiber have been tried. We ended up with a light weight
frame with a single wheel that can take on the toughest trails.
